A newly blind but resourceful housewife learns to cope with her disability, aided by a little girl next door with whom she has an exasperated maternal relationship. Her life turns upside down when she finds herself terrorized by a trio of criminals looking for a missing doll they used to smuggle heroin into the country. Equal parts charming and devilish, the men concoct an elaborate scheme of deception in order to locate the doll, which they believe is hidden in the housewife’s apartment.
