Summer Kids Workshops And Monster Slayers

The summers have always been kind of slow for us here at The Village Players. But this year, we are packed to the brim with fun events for people of all ages throughout our community! We’re bringing back the Kids’ Theatre Workshop with Mindy Walker, a chorus group and music theatre workshops for kids aged 6 through 18, and a special summer production which is seeking actors as young as 15.

We are looking for additional volunteers to help us put on all these events.  If you want to fill your time doing something fun and productive, please give us a shout by emailing production@thevillageplayers.com right away!

(Dramatic Comedy) She Kills Monsters tells the story of Agnes Evans as she leaves her childhood home in Ohio following the death of her teenage sister, Tilly. When Agnes finds Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, however, she stumbles into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was Tilly’s refuge. In this high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and 90s pop culture, acclaimed young playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all.
