Plaza Suite Opens Friday… With Air!

In addition to yesterday’s big announcement of our 65th season, we have two more announcements to make today.

“Plaza Suite” by Neil Simon opens this Friday, June 8th and will run until June 23rd. If you haven’t reserved your seats yet, please do so by calling 215-675-6774 as soon as possible! Come see this fabulous comedy and help us wrap up the season on a high note.

A lot of people have been wondering about our air conditioner situation. We’ve been in the news a couple times attempting to drum up support and trying to raise funds for a new unit. Without it, the possibility of putting on a show in hot weather seems nearly impossible; dangerous at least.

Well, we weren’t able to raise enough funds for a new, large commercial unit. But with contributions from people just like you, we were able to get a 36,000 BTU ductless unit installed yesterday… just in time for the opening of the show!

Our plan is to get another one put in the seating area as soon as possible. As we continue to raise funds, we’ll be installing other units just like this one to place around the building. Individually controlled, we will also be saving energy costs by having the ability to cool down only the areas of the building that are needed.
