In The Wings: Fools
Announcing the final production of our 65th Season. It’s the comedy “Fools” by Neil Simon.

Bottom (left to right): Tim Schumann, Jenny Sullens, Anthony Cipollo, Chris Hougland.
Leon Tolchinsky (Anthony Cipollo) is ecstatic. He’s landed a terrific teaching job in an idyllic Russian Hamlet. He encounters a shepherd named Snetsky (Joe Forsstrom) who is not very bright. Leon’s new employer is Dr. Zubritsky (Clint Cleaver) and his wife Lenya Zubritsky (Joan Kerber). Leon falls head over heels in love with their daughter Sophia (Jenny Sullens). Everyone in the town is, well, not very smart. Leon discovers that there is a curse on the town. A curse of stupidity. If he can’t educate her in 24 hours, he will fall victim to the curse as well. Rounding out the cast are: Slovitch (Tim Schumann), Magistrate (Chris Hougland), Mishkin (Becca Seeley), Yenchna (Jeanne Gheen), and Gregor (Rick DiDonato).
Directing the play is Ron Green who also responsible for last season’s “Early One Evening at The Rainbow Bar & Grille”. Gina Lutz is the assistant director and Angie Schlauch is producing.
The play was written by audience favorite Neil Simon, author of other classic comedies as “The Odd Couple”, “Barefoot in The Park”, “Rumors”, “Laughter on the 23rd Floor” and many others.
