In The Wings: True West

SYNOPSIS:

Set in an outer Los Angeles suburb on the edge of the desert, True West focuses on the tense reunion of two brothers: Lee, a drinking, drifting, thieving hustler looking to go on a burglary spree, and Austin, a successful Hollywood screenwriter housesitting for his mother while she is on an Alaskan cruise. After Lee befriends Austin’s producer and attracts his attention with story ideas, Austin finds his own project in jeopardy. As the brothers slowly exchange lives, they find themselves in an unlikely partnership to complete a script for a “real life” western.

Please note: This production contains adult themes and language.

VOLUNTEER WITH US!

It’s easy to forget that every show of every production is put together and ran 100%  by volunteers, so it can be difficult at times to make sure we have enough people to bring it all together.  If you could spare us some of your time, we’d love to have you help us out. Email production@thevillageplayers.com with the date(s) you’re available to volunteer for ASAP!
