Become a Director

Interested in directing at VPH? All new directors at our theatre undergo a period of training as follows:

  • Assistant Direct for a “vetted” director at our theatre.

  • Direct and present a one-act play at a General Membership meeting.

At all levels of training, feedback will be provided from current directors. All new directors are subject to the approval of the Board of Directors. Guest directors may be sought from outside of the theatre in times of need.

For more information about becoming a director, or to begin your training, please reach out to our Production Chair at production@thevillageplayers.com.
